San Antonio Fun

We just got home from San Antonio. We had a week of warm weather and enjoyment. We went to visit Shane's sister and family who are living at Fort Sam Houston. It was neat to be able to stay on post and learn how a military base functions. Thanks, Shannon for answering my hundreds of questions without hesitation. Shane's mother and father, sister Lisa and her 2 month old son Joshua were also there with us. Lest it be said we were busting at the seams after a few days in the same house. It was fun to get all the kids together (six in all) and see them interact. Addi would scream in delight and then Hayden would follow suit. It was like the babies were speaking some sort of language only they could understand. We did all the typical touristy things... The Alamo, The Riverwalk, the San Antonio Zoo, and a couple of other fun things. Shane took me to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse for an amazing date. It was wonderful to be in 78 degree weather during February. As Brent and I sat outside in the sun we both said this is what February should feel like. Addi traveled well both ways of our two and half hour flights. She enjoyed having people around her constantly, someone was always avaliable for love and affection. All and all it was a very nice week.
