It's Been a Month Already...

Wow time flies by. A few highlights from the last month

1. Western Nationals Barrel Race in Ogden-Won money in the second go. Would of won more in the short go except I tipped. My cousin Leah and her three kids came to watch and the kids got to ride Tilly all over, they had a great time!

2. Family party in Pleasant View, Utah-Founder's Day. This was really fun! Lots of food and we got to be really close to the fireworks, we watched them from my aunt and uncle's yard. Addi loved the fireworks, when they were finished she pointed to the sky and said "mo, mo" aka more.

3. I have been working at the feedlot, helping Shane. I actually really enjoy it and of course Addi gets to come along. She loves it out there, her favorite part is when we go outside to the scales and pull hay samples from the big trucks!

4. Our horses knocked down the panels blocking off our garden and proceeded to eat everything except the squash, sunflowers and tomato plants. We lost our beans, peas, corn, marigolds, spinach, potatoes, broccoli, lettuce and carrots. Shane and I were devastated and REALLY irritated. We are going to try and replant and see what happens. Keep your fingers crossed!

5. Addi is running all over and saying dog, horse, hi, bird, and half a dozen other words. Her hair is finally long enough to put in pigtails or a pony tail. She wants to be outside all day long and loves to run through the sprinklers or play in her pool! She is really happy and hardly ever fusses. I told my mom the other day it is a good thing she keeps getting more fun because she also keeps getting harder! Let's not even talk about when we go out to eat.

COMING UP... All day horse ride out in the middle of nowhere, camping with friends on the fourth, all of Shane's siblings coming for a visit, swimming lessons with Addi and multiple barrel races/rodeos! Don't you just LOVE summer!
